STRAWBERRY, HONEY & OAT CLEANSER
This gentle cleanser doubles as a fabulous exfoliator for even the most sensitive
skin types. The shredded coconut and strawberry seeds buff away dead skin
cells, while the coconut milk and honey provide lasting hydration. This recipe is
easy to make when traveling, because most of the ingredients can be found in a
breakfast buffet, but in that case you’ll have to use a utensil instead of your mini
food processor.
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
2 strawberries
¼ cup precooked oats
1 tablespoon coconut milk (or green tea)
1 tablespoon honey (or molasses)
1. In a mini food processor, combine the shredded coconut and strawberries. Pulse a few times.
2. Add rest of the ingredients to the mini chop and pulse again until smooth.
3. Transfer to a small airtight container.
TO USE: Wash your face with a dime-size amount of cleanser. Rinse completely.
STORAGE: Store in the refrigerator for 10 days to 2 weeks. You can also make a larger batch and freeze
for later use. Fill an ice cube tray with a dollop of the product in each space and thaw one cube in the
refrigerator or on the countertop as needed.
USE: Daily, morning and night
W ith everything from pollution, sun exposure, and the drying effects of air-
